Greetings to my friends, fans, and family. Here's my story of how I came to be, thus far. I was born in Lancaster, Ohio and started out as a typical high energy child who was put into gymnastics and dance at age 5 by my parents. The thought was for me to put some construction and creativity into my active life. I took to it all and decided around age 6-7 to move from the dance studio to the YMCA where I could do all four events in gymnastics. I loved it and picked it up quickly. I was winning many competitions and was excelling past my coaches expertise. She recommended starting at a private gymnastics academy as soon as possible if I wanted to get further instruction. My parents said that if I enjoyed it, then proceed to the next level.

I competed and moved right up the levels and finally as a sophomore moved to train with my coach in Panama City, Florida. This was a wonderful opportunity to train one on one with my coach and coach younger students and teach strength and conditioning to other team members. This was where I completely engrossed myself. I remember loving the burn from the get go. Unlike other team girls, I thrived on the intensity of the strength training at the end of gym practice. Because of all that hard strength training, I was able to do many exercises that at that time only boys teams were doing. My coach claimed that I was doing a balance beam mount that no other females have done to his knowledge. He told me that I was the strongest female athlete in the country at that time. I still have never heard of any female doing my mount on the beam. Along with hard training, I was genetically given this gift of upper body strength to do these things that some of the boys team couldn't do. After twelve years of gymnastics, I just felt tired and kinda burned out. I started weight training my last year of gymnastics. It was as if I had found my niche. I competed in my first bodybuilding competition as a junior in high school. It was only an experience just to learn some of the in and outs of dieting and training.

I opted to stop gymnastics later that year after a severe ankle injury doing floor exercise. I had imagined not being able to continue for 5 more years of competing and ending with a battered arthritic body. Scholarships were turned down and my senior year was spent being a superior student and starting college classes. As disappointing as it was, my parents accepted that I was done and athletic scholarships were out. I ended up getting a full ride academic scholarship to any state funded college.

I continued to train intensely with weights. I knew that I had to sculpt my physique prior to doing any more competing. I trained the entire 4 years in college and graduated with my bachelors of science in nursing. I continued practicing as an R.N. and the following year I lined up my competitions to go full force in bodybuilding . I competed in 4 competitions that next year. I won my weight class in bodybuilding in 2 national qualifiers and won best poser in all competitions. I qualified for nationals at the Miss Ohio Bodybuilding Championships. I opted out of Nationals due to the huge drug use I saw at these local competitions.

I decided to train and start doing natural bodybuilding, fitness, and Miss galaxy competitions. I had my training clients and worked hard on the obstacle course. The Miss Galaxy was another great experience and I placed 2nd on the course time. I have continued to train through out a pregnancy, and I am now training for upcoming figure and natural bodybuilding competitions. These past several months I have been doing photoshoots for Herbiceps and have been getting great response from supplement companies for sponsorship.

My most awesome support system is my family. My husband, Nick is really great. He supports my training and diet habits. We always train together when possible.
Nick and I have been married since November 2004. In my life as well is my beautiful daughter Sayge. She is four years old and is my buddy and yoga partner. I love knowing that in some way, I'll influence her healthy lifestyle for nutrition and exercise. The two other parts to my family are my pooch Redbone and kitty India. Yep, we are one big really awesome, happy family. I love them all to pieces.
